ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE
DENTAL ASSISTANTS
Elizabeth Burleson is our head dental assistant. All of our patients know and love Elizabeth. She has been with our practice since 1999. She has been in the dental field since 1989. She is trained to perform many expanded duties. She assists Dr. Stewart chairside and her warm heart and gentle manner will make you feel comfortable and relaxed during your visit. She is CPR certified and holds a current radiology permit. Elizabeth and her husband, David have a blended family of three children, Parker, Chase, and Ashley. Elizabeth is also pleased to become a grandmother to her daughter Ashley's beautiful little angel, Addison Claire.
April Stringer is Dr. Stewart's chairside assistant and her friendly spirit and bright smile will allay any fears you may have during your visit. Her goal is to make you comfortable during your visit. April is very competent and she can answer any questions you may have. She is CPR certified and holds a current radiology permit. April and her husband, Gary, reside in Raymond with their three children, Sydney, Maddy, and Hardy.
DENTAL HYGIENISTS
Teri Smith, RDH, BS, received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2001. She is also CPR certified. In addition to performing maintenance appointments, she can assist you with your cosmetic dental questions. Teri has the distinction of being the Invisalign coordinator of our practice. Teri resides in Florence with her husband, Gentry. They have two sons, Greyson and Myrick. She also owns her own “traveling boutique” called My-Style that can be found across the southeast at Junior League Markets.
DENTISTS ON-CALL
Dr. Shellie V. Breland, a native of Rankin County, is a graduate of East Rankin Academy and Mississippi College. She was awarded her DDS from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. She is a member of ADA, MDA, AGD and is certified in oral sedation and Invisalign orthodontic therapy. Dr. Breland is married to Dr. Louis J. Breland, a marriage and family therapist. The Brelands have two children, Jillian and William. The family resides in Brandon and attends Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church.
